On September 11th, while celebrating the Holy Mass of the inauguration, Don Francesco said in his homily, among other things, that during the period in which he was waiting for the appointment, he was in a delicate phase of his priestly life.
On December 10, 2012 Don Francesco received from the Cardinal Archbishop Giuseppe Betori the “delivery of the keys of the church” for the entry into possession as Parish Priest of San Donato a Livizzano and Santa Maria a Pulica.
From there other parishes such as San Vito a Bellosguardo and San Francesco di Paola and San Remigio in the city center, succeeding Monsignor Giancarlo Setti; then the appointment as Rector of the Ecclesiastical Boarding School of the Calza from 1996 to 2005.
As we know, Don Francesco, in addition to all these experiences, had opened the Casa Santi Arcangeli in Santa Lucia in the town of Barberino Mugello, founding the homonymous ONLUS Foundation on July 18, 2007; a Foundation that cooperated and cooperates with several religious institutions for aid in the third world.
In Manila, Don Francesco, in addition to food parcels for 500 families and study aids for children, is financing a project named “Villaggio San Donato” consisting of three buildings with a House of Welcome, a nursery school, a canteen for 150 children, a doctor for outpatient visits and various courses also with computers.

In Damour, the activity of our volunteers of Oui pour la Vie continues, trying to support a large number of families in the purchase of medicines and through cooking. Due to the increase in the cost of ingredients and the decrease in aid from Italy, the distribution of meals is not guaranteed for all; instead we offer containers with long-life food. We always ask for help and publicity.
A big thank you to Don Francesco Saverio Bazzoffi and to all the friends of the Foundation “Casa Santi Arcangeli” not only for having donated a house with garden in Damour, Lebanon, to be used for the purposes of Oui pour la Vie, but also for having started, in this very difficult period for Italy, the urgent work of renovation of the same.
You will all remember the case of Hind (in the photo), the Muslim girl who, thanks to the prayers and help of all, was operated on 3 years ago for a head tumor. The medical forecasts gave her a maximum of a few months to live, yet after 3 years she is still alive and shows no signs of a brain tumor, as evidenced by the recent scanner.
